Smartphone App Capabilities

These are some of the things you can do with the smartphone app.

Barcode scanning

On Android devices, the supported barcodes are: QR CODE, DATA MATRIX, UPC E, UPC A, EAN 8, EAN 13, CODE 128, CODE 39, CODE 93, CODABAR, ITF, RSS14, RSS EXPANDED, PDF 417, AZTEC, RSS 14

On iOS devices, the supported barcodes are: QR CODE, DATA MATRIX, UPC E, UPC A, EAN 8, EAN 13, CODE 128, CODE 39, CODE 93, ITF, PDF 417, AZTEC, RSS 14

NFC Tags reading

NFC tags scanning is supported on many NFC-capable Android & iOS devices.

With Android devices or iOS 13 (and beyond) devices, you can have the app also read the Unique IDs of the NFC tags.

NFC Tags programming

On NFC-capable Android or iOS devices, blank or unlocked NFC tags can be programmed with data.

Data capturing

With the use of the Data Capture feature, you can create custom fields that enable you to collect details about assets, inventories, processes, etc.

History viewing

You can view the full history of items that have been scanned, or added from the web app.

Searching

You can search for items by either typing the keyword, or scanning barcodes and NFC tags.

Geo-coordinates logging

You can have the app capture GPS coordinates each time a scan is made.

GPS coordinates are captured automatically, unless specifically disabled.

Sending scans to Google Sheets or Excel Online

You can have the app send barcode scans or NFC taps directly to Google Sheets or Excel Online.

Working Offline

You can set up the app to work without an Internet connection. The data captured whilst working offline can later be synced with the web app.
