How Can We Help?

Managing In-house Deliveries

Benefits

Ventipix Asset & Inventory Manager platform enables a business to take control of the delivery of its products.

With the platform, you can inform the customer, via email notifications, about the progress of the delivery.

You can also obtain proof of delivery by capturing signatures, photos, GPS coordinates, etc.

Getting Started

What you will need

Order Reference Numbers

You will need unique order reference numbers that identify a delivery.

Barcodes or QR Codes

The order reference numbers would then be assigned to barcodes or QR codes.

The Smartphone App

Download the iOS or Android app that will help you to scan barcodes, QR Codes, or NFC tags and update the status of a delivery.

You will need to create user accounts for those who should use the smartphone app, and also grant permissions to relevant sections or features of the app.

Using the goods dispatched features

Delivery Records

The first step is to add records about the deliveries. Details can include attributes such as the customer’s name, delivery address, order date, etc. These attributes are customizable, so you can capture any attribute you want.

There are several ways to add delivery records to your account. They include filling in a form, CSV import, or via automation using Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate.

The quickest way to get started is by importing the delivery records from a CSV spreadsheet.

Delivery Status

As delivery attempts are made, use the Delivery Status feature to update the progress made. Customizable data such as signatures, photos, etc, can be captured during the status update.

You can set up an email notification that informs the customer of the latest update status.

Inventory Adjustments

If you have inventory records that also get tied to the delivery, you can indicate if adjustments should be made when updating a delivery record.

Packing Slips

You can also generate packing slips to aid in picking or packing the correct inventory items.

What next?

As you update the delivery statuses, the Goods Dispatched section of the platform will show a current up-to-date overview of all the delivery records and their statuses.

You can change how the data gets formatted and presented on the table or what gets displayed on it, search for records, export them, format them, sync with other platforms e.g. Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, and generate custom reports.

If you’re part of a team, you can add other team members as sub-users and assign them permission to access certain features.
